WHERE COMPOSER MEETS CONDUCTOR
Sofia Symphonic Summit provides a unique environment where emerging conductors and composers work closely together, manifesting the realization of newly composed work for symphony orchestra or wind symphony.

Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is known for its rich cultural traditions, beautiful architecture, and advantageous art scene. The people of Sofia love and appreciate new music and eagerly await the presentation of new compositions representing contemporary influences and stylistic differences.

Every admitted participants receives a scholarship between 40 and 60% of the program fee.

Participants should arrive on August 2nd and depart on August 12th

Application opens officially on December 14th, 2020

Application will close May 15th, 2021

Priority is given first to those who apply early

Review applications will begin immediately and will continue until May 15th, or till the program is full.

Applicants may receive a notification of being 'waitlisted'. If waitlisted, applicants will receive notification no later than May 20th.
